786 Burger & Fries is a local burger joint with great food — but hungry customers can’t order from a restaurant they’ve never heard of. The owner wanted more foot traffic and delivery orders, but had no idea how to run effective Meta Ads. This is the story of how a tiny PKR 9,000 budget turned into massive ROI for a local business.
The Challenge
A local burger joint wanted more foot traffic and delivery orders but had no idea how to run effective Meta Ads. For a local business, every rupee counts — there’s no big brand budget to waste on experiments that don’t work. The owner needed results he could see in his daily sales, not vanity metrics.
What I Found
When I looked at what they were doing, I found the classic local-business mistakes:
- Ads were boosted posts instead of proper conversion campaigns — the weakest, least controllable way to spend money on Meta.
- Targeting was far too wide for a local business — ads were being shown to people who would never visit the restaurant.
- No location-based strategy — no geo-targeting around the restaurant to reach people close enough to order.
What I Fixed
- Switched from boosted posts to proper Meta Ads campaigns built for real conversions, not just reach.
- Set up hyper-local targeting around the restaurant — only reaching people close enough to walk in or order delivery.
- Used mouth-watering food creative that made people hungry mid-scroll — because for food, the creative IS the ad.
- Added click-to-WhatsApp ordering to remove all friction between seeing the ad and placing an order.
The Results
Only PKR 9,000 ad spend → PKR 40,000+ revenue
10x+ ROAS for a local business
Proof that you don’t need a massive budget to win with Meta Ads — just the right strategy for your business type.
